Toyota - Supplier Conference

Toyota Australia's Supplier Conference is an important annual event for aligning the ambitions of Toyota Australia with that of their suppliers to jointly achieve the very demanding goals in the cut throat world of the global automotive market. At stake is no less a prize than securing future local production of such award winning vehicles as the highly regarded Toyota Camry.

Given such a background, it is critical that the Supplier Conferences inform, explain and help motivate both Toyota and their suppliers to continue their successful efforts to keep local manufacturing competitive on a world scale.

Well, they must be doing something right, because Australia now builds the highest quality Camry in the world ... at the lowest cost in the world.

For this critical event between Toyota and it's suppliers, Real World provides a wide variety of services;

CREATIVE CONCEPT
Working with Mark German of MAGE Productions, we develop a theme for the conference based on in-depth discussions with the key conference stakeholders at Toyota. The next step is to design a conference logo that embodies the theme and apply that throughout the conference. Finally, detailed 3D renders of the stage area are created for client sign-off, as seen here at left.

SET AND DISPLAY
A key element in leveraging the theme is the onstage set and display, seen here on the right. Perhaps no one in Australia has designed more stages & sets than Mark German ... and it shows.

Mark first came to prominence in the Australian A/V scene as one of the founding creative elements of Staging Connections, for the last five years Mark's own company MAGE Productions has continued to bring his creative and technical excellence to a wide variety of projects such as the Toyota Supplier Conference.

COPYWRITING
Visuals can astonish, but only words can inspire.

Real World has been helping Australia's leading companies communicate both visually and verbally for almost ten years. Conference invitations, video scripts or bridging pieces for the conference host are all vital opportunities to skillfully interweave and work the conference them. To kick the conference off on the right note, Real World wrote and edited a 3 minute opening video that wove together the core themes of revolutions in thinking, industry, creativity and technology.

PRESENTATION DESIGN
At Real World, presentation design is a core skill and one that is close to our hearts. Clients have remarked that for a multimedia business, we have a strange philosophy, in that we believe 'less is more' when it comes to presentations. Our biggest contribution often comes from our ability to refine the client's draft presentation down to a honed, targeted form that is most readily absorbed by their audience.

That's not to say there isn't a place in some presentations for inclusion of animation and video, but just as 'form follows function', use of technology follows the content. We never forget it is speaker support and that it's your event ... not ours.

AWARDS SHOW
Unlike presentations, this is indeed an area where we can unleash all our of creative and multimedia powers to good effect. With a combination of live video, stock, custom shot footage, still images, animation and special effects .. combined with kick ass sound/FX track ... the Awards segment of the conference celebrates those suppliers who have excelled above their peers.
